Got a quote from the builder and it's higher than we budgeted. Surprise surprise. Now have to decide which bank to rob or which of my children's savings account to raid! Ok, so neither is an option so now have to make concessions somewhere. Today has been very contemplative but I keep telling myself to stay positive!
Needless to say, the solar option is also no longer a consideration at this time. We figure the final cost would run us close to $30K USD.

Are you planning on building as far up on the shoreline as your neighbor in the aerial photo?
ReplyDeleteThe neighbours are 110' from the shoreline. We are going to go to about 80' and clear only 200' in total. How far is yours going to be from the shoreline?
