Just waiting

So, we're waiting for John to come back with our official design. It may take weeks I gather. So, we've contacted our neighbours (Gail and Earl) to the south of us (they built with John 2 years ago). They've offered some good advice about leaving some bushes on the circumference of the lot for privacy, a cement wall down at the lagoon front, raising the house another foot or 2 above the fill level, and a few other construction details. But, they do recommend John for his good work and the fact that he works with his crew every day so they actually work every day!
