Our girl's get together was short-lived today because they were burning on our property and the soot was coming over to Gail's. Very unfortunately, it leaves a film of burnt rubber on the surfaces of everything in it's path and the wind was not blowing in the right direction today. They have to burn rubber tires to get the fire going because the brushes are too wet to burn. So, all the women left and Mom and I stayed around. Within half hour we were in the pool but Earl had a lot of vacuuming to do to reduce some of the soot.
We then swam in the lagoon to the front of my property which is more than a dip so if a croc really wanted us, they would have had us. Even Mom came in for a swim. Yeah Mom! The water is so warm therefore no rush for the pool since there is reprieve from the scorching sunny days.
