Our last day!

They have staked out the position of the house. It will be placed at an angle for the maximum cross-flow of the breeze that comes off the lagoon. It may look big in the picture (or maybe not), but it really isn't. I took Mom for a tour through the imaginary house and it didn't take many steps.





Here is a pic of a very old piece of machinery used by the mennonites to dig wells. It is likely as old as 1930, pretty primitive but certainly does the trick.
